If you’ve ever been wedged in between people you don’t know, while wearing bright orange life vests, just to try and get a picture of The Arch in Cabo…then there’s a better way...I promise.
To best honest, I could be led to my death if someone offered me signature cocktails and a taco bar….so it didn’t take much for me to say 1000% yes when I was given a chance to experience what Pelican Cabo had to offer.
From the moment the charter was in view, I knew this was exactly what was missing in my life. The open decks, the furniture, the endless bottles of champagne…all of it screamed “Aubree, you belong here!!!!”
We started off with a welcome drink as soon as we stepped onto the boat. I, of course, started with a Bloody Mary as it’s the best way to get over from the night before. The local mixologist began making up all sorts of yummy cocktails for everyone on board!
We then began to set out for our 3.5 hour adventure! The boat is three stories, with the lower and middle deck having areas to lounge and visit. It is big enough to not feel crowded, but small enough to feel intimate with the people you’re with. We were able to play our own music on the surround sound system as we searched for whales and sea lions!
As we neared The Arch, the captain positioned the boat perfectly for us to get the classic pictures that everyone wants! We were never rushed, and he continuously moved so that other boats didn’t obstruct our gorgeous view.
The fun wasn’t even close to being over at this point! It was actually beginning….the champagne was flowing and before long the guys were jumping off the second deck into the water! Nothing says a good time like wondering if there will be a hospitalization.
While the boys enjoyed being boys, the crew was bringing out the stand up paddle boards, snorkeling equipment and float mat for us to enjoy! Fun fact, if you rent the morning time and you enjoy yoga, they will take you through an entire flow. They have actually accommodated yoga bootcamps, private fitness instructors, and yoga brands for photos shoots several times. They provide yoga mats, hand towels, and bottled water for their guests!
As we were enjoying our adventure, they started bringing out homemade chips and fresh guac! Before long we were filling our stomachs with the Pelican Style Taco Bar….a variety of chicken and beef tacos all served family style with season local salsa, diced onion, cilantro, sliced jalapeños, and Pelican creamy taco sauces!
As our time drew to an end I couldn’t help but think of how perfect this would be for a wedding party or a bachelor/bachelorette party! I am always trying to think of things to add in when styling your trips, and this is the perfect addition to an already gorgeous destination!
The Pelican Cabo is located at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Dock B, in front of Puerto Paraiso Mall – Luxury Ave. entrance
Depending on the size of your group they can arrange either a SUV or sprinters to collect you from whatever hotel you’re staying at and take you directly to the main marina where you will be greeted by your host who will be waiting to escort you onboard the Pelican Cabo. (Please be advise that there are rates associated with these transfers.)
Outfit Deets: I 100% recommend wearing sandals or comfortable shoes. The boat, at times, is a bit rocky due to waves, I would never recommend heels! Either bring a swimsuit or wear one under your clothing! Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are definite must haves!
This would be perfect for pre-and post-wedding events, bachelorette and bachelor parties, family gatherings, corporate retreats, or birthday parties!
